My daughter was married at The Pearl. We had the rehearsal and dinner, the wedding ceremony and the reception all on site. It was great to have one location for it all. Lana and John were so easy to talk to and prepared for everything. They were kind, helpful, and very available throughout the process and during the events. It was great to work with their vendors who knew the layout and the "program," and were also easy to work with. With the barn (inside and out) being so gorgeous on it's own, you don't need many decorations. We came from 3 hours away and I was nervous I would forget something but Lana put my fears to rest with her experience with all things wedding and reception -related. We received lots of compliments on how gorgeous the wedding barn venue was and how helpful John and Lana were without making anyone feel like they were being "policed." The bride's room and groom's room worked out great, too. We had a wonderful day and could not have wished for anything that the Pearl did not provide!

From the first time we stepped into The Pearl we were blown away by how absolutely beautiful it was. The rustic glam vibe was exactly what we were going for. We got married at the outdoor arbor to the side of the barn. The dramatic staircase is so beautiful and made for a perfect grand entrance to our reception. The outdoor pavilion was a dream for our outdoor cocktail hour and place for people to gather outside for pictures and fresh air. So many options for ceremony locations - weather will never be an issue. Plus inside there’s an awesome bar set up, kitchen, and two rooms upstairs that are perfect for getting ready in the day of your ceremony.
As if the venue itself isn’t enough, the owners (John and Lana) are two of the most kind and genuine people you will ever meet. We met with Lana a couple weeks before the wedding and when we showed up Friday for rehearsal she had everything set up exactly the way we had discussed. She was so helpful in helping us plan for vendors, set up, and unexpected obstacles we hadn’t even considered. She was always easy to get ahold of and very responsive. She truly made the whole process stress free. She was someone who I looked forward to seeing throughout the planning process because she was so sweet and so helpful.
There aren’t enough words to thank John and Lana for allowing us to borrow their beautiful outdoor wedding venue for the best day of our lives!
My daughter and new son chose this country wedding venue for their wedding this weekend...PERFECT CHOICE! The beauty of the landscape and architecture set an ideal tone for the most elegant of affairs. And being a family on a budget, it was important to us to have an affordable venue with several options that could meet our price range. We had around 200 guests, and the handicap accessibility and restroom capacity made every guest comfortable. The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Crawford, were professional. kind, and fun to work with. I'll always be grateful to them for helping us give my daughter and new son the happiest day of their lives!
My daughter got married at The Pearl on November 21st. As you can imagine, trying to hold a wedding during a pandemic presented challenges but Lana and her staff did an outstanding job. They worked with my daughter in every way, and made sure the rustic wedding venue was safe for all. Their caterer recommendation was excellent and all guests commented on how beautiful the venue was. Leading up to the actual wedding & reception did have it's share of stress and anxiety, but once we got there and got it going it was the wedding/party that my daughter and all of us had hoped for, and was an absolutely wonderful celebration!
Is there an option for 10 stars? This venue was out of this world! However, the family running this beautiful place is even better! They went above and beyond to ensure that my brother & sister-in-law’s barn wedding went perfect! If you take a visit to this outdoor wedding venue...you’ll fall in love and never look back!
Ladies - listen up! This place is a dream! My husband and I got married here on October 27th, 2018 and we could not have asked for a better location, better people to work with, or a more beautiful scenery. The Crawfords worked with up to make the Pearl exactly what we needed it to be for our special day. And I can't even begin to count the compliments that we got from our friends and family on how perfect the wedding barn venue was.
When you hear the word barn you always think rustic - but you can make this place just how you want it. The exposed wood just give you the perfect blank template for anything you want it to be. Also the ability to have your ceremony in multiple different locations put my mind at ease when it came to weather concerns. So whether you want to get married outside while the sun sets or inside underneath the beautiful wooden beams - you are covered. I just can't express enough how lucky anyone would be to get married here. And believe me you won't get a better group of people to work with. I would highly recommend this place to anyone - it is simply beautiful and a work of art.
As a venue for a wedding or special event there is none better. Catering at many locations this one tops them all. The kitchen is perfect with great access from our trailer and then out to the serving are. It is beautiful throughout. Even the outside landscape is perfect. This is my number one recommendation for anyone within 50-75 miles. Those using downtown Kansas City should look at this Missouri wedding venue instead!
Not only is this venue absolutely gorgeous and versatile, but having the support of the owners, Lana & John, on that special day is priceless!
As the day-of wedding coordinator, I worked with them behind the scenes and can tell that these two truly care about each and every family they work with. They are kind, endlessly patient, and John seems to magically show up just when you need something or have a question.
We pulled off a very successful rustic barn wedding for 300 guests last night and it was amazing! Soooo grateful the bride chose The Pearl—everything was perfect!

I can’t say enough great things about The Pearl at Crawford Farm. The venue – beautiful, elegant, timeless. The experience – personal, efficient, and detailed. We got married in September outside at the newly finished arbor in front of green pines, with guests sitting in the shade of large beautiful Locust trees (a huge win for a hot day). The setting was gorgeous and everything we ever dreamed of. Our décor was minimal because the venue has so much natural beauty outside and craftsmanship and life inside. The planning process was made easy from the beginning with Lana’s responsiveness, preferred vendor list (we used 3 of The Pearl’s favorite vendors and were so pleased), and detailed communication with options for our big day. Our stress was minimized by the efficiency and knowledge of The Pearl team. The outdoor wedding venue had all our must-have amenities: outdoor space for ceremony and happy hour, a large dance floor, a kitchen with ample space for caterers, a bar with commercial fridges for chilling drinks, bride/groom suites for getting ready, plenty of parking, and so much flexibility for making our day exactly what we dreamed
What makes the Pearl so unique, other than its hand crafted beauty, is the dedication that Lana and John show to their clients. Our wedding day faced a few fluke accidents and unforeseen hiccups that were not the fault of anyone, these things just happen sometimes! Through it all, Lana and John were encouraging, accommodating, and provided so much peace of mind. They will keep any bride grounded in what truly matters, the fact that at the end of the day you'll be married to someone you love. The rest is gravy! And of course, in the end our wedding was absolutely magical, everything came together just as it was meant to be. The Peal was the perfect backdrop to the best day of our lives!
Holy moly that place was gorgeous top to bottom!! A wonderful place to do a barn wedding wedding and dinner and drinks and still plenty of room for dancing!!
I would shoot every wedding at The Pearl if I could! I’m a photographer and absolutely love the style and setup of the entire space. Not to mention Lana and her family! They’ve poured their heart and souls into making the venue work for almost anyone’s needs, and are just amazing to work with! Best outdoor wedding venue, close to home. Couldn’t ask for more!

This venue was absolutely amazing! The barn is set in the perfect location with a beautiful view from every vantage point. The gorgeous scenery and beautifully stained wood give you endless opportunities for stunning pictures! However, while the barn and scenery are to die for, it is the owners and their family that make this place so extremely special. They did everything in their power to ensure that our day was unique to us and exactly what we had always dreamt of! We are SO glad we chose The Pearl for our venue, and HIGHLY recommend you do the same!
Can’t say enough about this venue! Our daughter was the first wedding at this NEW wedding venue in Missouri! The Pearl is absolutely gorgeous. The Crawford’s were great to work with and very accommodating! The wood, the iron work, nicely decorated. The views were breathtaking! From the entry to the “antique” bar. The bridal suite to grooms room. Everything was perfect! Easy accessibility. Great lighting, set up and kitchen. It was the perfect venue for our perfect occasion! Can’t say enough about the Crawford’s. Their sincerity, hospitality and willingness to work with us to have the perfect day! Mission accomplished!
