The Pearl at Crawford Farm, located just north of Kansas City, Missouri, offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and elegant amenities. Our beautiful countryside setting features multiple ceremony locations, including an outdoor arbor and a grand hall with a dramatic staircase for unforgettable entrances.

Our venue can host up to 250 guests.

At The Pearl, we offer flexible one-day and two-day wedding packages, including options for weekdays, weekends, and enchanting winter weddings near Kansas City.

Our Missouri venue includes a spacious reception area for up to 250 guests, on-site dressing rooms with private bathrooms, choice of indoor and outdoor ceremony locations, bars, and a climate-controlled barn. We provide tables, chairs, and a sound system for your perfect day.

The Pearl provides round and rectangular tables, padded chairs for 250 guests, 5 wooden harvest tables, a sound system, whiskey barrels, bistro tables, and seasonal decor when applicable.

Absolutely! We understand that every couple has unique desires for their wedding day. While our Missouri wedding packages are designed to cover all the essentials and upgrades, we’re more than happy to work with you to customize your experience.

Floating candles are welcome.

While we’re typically amenable to unique decor concepts, please discuss any major additions or alterations with us beforehand.

Tacking or nailing anything to the walls is not permitted.

Confetti is not allowed.

For specialized effects like smoke machines, please consult with us in advance.

Our goal is to bring your dream wedding to life while ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. We’re happy to discuss your decorating ideas and find creative solutions that work within our guidelines.

Access time varies by package. Weekday weddings are 10 AM – 10 PM, Friday and Saturday weddings are 8 AM – 12 AM, and Sunday weddings are 10 AM – 10 PM. If you rent the venue for our two day package, you can come at 8AM on Friday.

Yes, our entire reception venue is ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) accessible, except for upstairs.

To align with local regulations, we do have some noise restrictions in place:

On Fridays and Saturdays, music must conclude by 11:00 PM

Despite these guidelines, you’ll still have plenty of time to celebrate, especially considering our generous venue access hours. Many couples find that having a set end time is actually beneficial:

  • It helps structure the event’s flow
  • Ensures the celebration concludes on a high note
  • Prevents the party from going too late (trust us, you will be tired!)

These policies strike a balance between allowing for a full celebration and respecting our local community. Most guests appreciate having a clear end time, as it helps them plan their evening and ensures everyone leaves while the energy is still high.

Remember, you can always continue the celebration at a nearby after-party location if you wish to extend the festivities beyond our venue’s hours.

Logistics & Planning

Yes, we have ample parking next to The Barn for you and all of your guests. Please keep in mind that because we are about one hour north of Kansas City, Uber or Lyft may not be the best option for you or your guests. However, we have plenty of hotels, Airbnbs, VRBOs, and bed & breakfasts.

At The Pearl at Crawford Farm, we’ve designed our packages to take the stress off your shoulders. You don’t need to lift a finger when it comes to set up and tear down of tables and chairs. If you want extra time to set up your decor and haven’t hired a team to do so, we recommend our two day package which gives you plenty of time to set up and prepare for your rehearsal.

Yes, aside from being a gorgeous wedding venue, we are also an excellent choice for corporate events.

Yes, we have an incredible list of vendors that we’re happy to share once you are ready to book The Pearl and start planning.

Catering & Bar Services

The Pearl does not provide catering but has a prep kitchen for caterers to use. You can choose your own caterer. We have a list of vetted vendors around the Kansas City & North Missouri area, that we know will provide you quality food if you want recommendations, but using them is not required.

Our list is composed of small business owners because we’ve found them to be the most conscientious and easy to work with, while providing a quality product and service.

We require a certificate of insurance covering bartending and catering companies brought into The Pearl.

At The Pearl, you may provide alcohol for your guests. We offer tubs, coolers, and unlimited ice to assist with your bar service, allowing you to customize your wedding drinks.

Payments & Booking

A Booking Fee of $1000 saves your date

Half of the balance is due 9 months prior to your wedding

Total balance is due 30 days prior to your wedding

Payments are accepted at anytime and will be posted to your account

An updated invoice will be sent showing your payment

We accept cash, check or credit card payments

Tax (6.725%) is applied to the barn rental fee

3.5% is added to any credit card payment

We may ask for credit card information to be kept on file

We do require event insurance for liability purposes. This must be purchased through our day-of event insurance provider. In order for us to make it very quick and simple for you, and to make sure that what you have exactly meets your contract requirements, no substitutions or exceptions are permitted.

This was the only venue that my husband and I looked at in person, and after seeing it, we were sold. It became the venue to compare all other venues to. Lana and her husband are so accommodating and make everything so easy. The venue is beautiful, the people are wonderful, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Another amazing aspect was that Lana has a list of vendors from around the area. This made finding a caterer, cake baker, DJ, videographer, etc. incredibly easy! We highly recommend The Pearl and cannot say enough about how amazing the venue and its crew are.
